Every MailZinga user and every MailZinga contact gets an alias address. An alias is the magic dust that allows us to know what language to translate your emails to. When using MailZinga it is essential to send emails to the alias address and not the recipient’s actual email address.
When sending an email to the alias address, MailZinga knows to which language to translate the email and to which email address to send it. It is important to send emails from email addresses registered at MailZinga, we only translate emails received from addresses of registered users or their created contacts.
Click on the Profile button to set your language and your name. All emails from your contacts send to your alias will be translated to the selected language and forwarded to your email address. If you set your name, it will be set as the sender for your emails. Furthermore, you see what is your alias address here. Your contacts will receive the emails you send from this address.
Click on the Create Contact button. Enter your contact’s real email and language. All emails you send to this contact will be translated to the selected language.
After the contact is created it will appear in the contacts table, and you will notice an additional field: alias.
When you send an email to the contact’s alias address, MailZinga will translate it to their selected language and send it to the contact's real email address. When your contact replies to your email, their reply will be sent to your alias email address. MailZinga will translate their message and send it to your real email address.
